Overcoming Materialistic Temptation

Why is it that the price of things in Australia and the world get so expensive its called inflation, people buy stuff everyday 99% of that stuff is useless crap sorry to say, but i see young people buying clothes, shoes, iphones, etc, the reason for this type of behavior is marketing and keeping up with freinds.

I am 37 years old now i live a very simple life i have a 1991 subaru liberty ( legacy in the USA ) few fishing rods, a cheap computer and a TV ( not plasma ) In life the best things are for free

i really mean that, buying the new gadget or the best pair of jeans is just a marketing thing people get brain washed to belive they must need it andbrainwash need it right now, your freinds wont think less of you if you buy jeans from Target or even the op shop ( thrift shop in the USA ) if they do they are not even worth having as your freinds!

There is many things in life that will give you satisfaction and most are for free and i really mean that :)

Here’s a few things that are free to do start today and don`t wait any longer, fishing this is my favorite only small price for a licence to fish.

Bush walking good exercise.
Taking your dog for a walk or your freinds dog you will met lots of people.
Going for a drive used to be one of my things but the price of petrol these days makes it not free.
Chatting to your freinds or your family mum and dad or your grand parents the older they get the more they know you might learn something new.
Volunteer your time at a op shop or thrift shop meet new people and find great cheap things.
Drawing and painting ok its not free but its very cheap.
Cuddle and kiss your partner if you have one.
Reading a book from the library or you could borrow one from a freind, you will lose yourself after reading a few pages and its better than watching a movie.
Playing cards with freinds there’s even many games you can play on your own.
You could join the S.E.S NSW State Emergency Service only in NSW www.ses.nsw.gov.au you help people in need I’m sure there is other services like this in other areas.
Making art work sculpture, metal work, clay work etc, you could even sell your art works and make some money.
There is even many free games you can play online runescape.com is one of them i play it sometimes well ok i play a fair bit and there is www.wesare.com
